What is the Hidden Milonguer@s group?

The Hidden Milonguer@s group is made up of a crowd of tango-loving friends who have decided to share moments and places to spend time together, cultivating passion and friendship. What is a Hidden Milonguer@ event?

To understand what a Hidden Milonguer@ event is all about, you have to take part. Synthesizing one could say that it is a moment of strong aggregation where the Tango is lived out of the usual milongas. The absolute freedom that characterizes these events is expressed in the free choice of place, time, music and its development. The always different composition of these elements and participants creates a different Hidden each time. There are no rules. Anyone can turn in a Hidden, just arrange a bit for the music, friendship and voilà! the magic is done. The word-of-mouth does the rest. Participants have to bring, if they wish, something to share, to eat or drink, potluck style. The important thing is to present yourself with the right spirit to create a great mix of passion and friendship.

How do I know when and where a Hidden Milonguer@ event will happen?

The organization of a Hidden Milonguer@ event  is carried out primarily through messages exchange that occurs within our Facebook events. The list is accessible only to invitees and who is not in the list is usually involved in the event through a word-of-mouth. From time to time the event, especially if improvised, is usually communicated by one of the organizers via direct message to those who have opted to leave their cell phone number. So, in a nutshell, you become aware of a Hidden Milonga through a Facebook private event, direct messages, or by being alerted by someone who, within the group, will be aware of the event. The same applies to other events, trips, parties and dinners that the group may organize from time to time.

How do I get in the List?

No personal data is required to sign up, simply leave a way of contact to a member during a Hidden Milonga or at one of the many milonga nights to which the group participates. Another good way is to join the Hidden Milonguer@s Tango Society in Facebook. you will be notified of all events. You can also contact one of the administrators to cancel or temporarily suspend enrollment.

Are there any special rules to follow by participating in the Hidden Milonguer@ event's messaging?

No particular rule applies except the general one of good education and respect for everyone belonging to the group. In the various discussions that may arise through the messages it's good to keep in mind that expressing particular concepts and personal views via chat may sometimes be easily misunderstood by the means of communication. When doing so, it is advisable to keep the tones low and prefer a direct verbal comparison for a healthy explanation. The topic is mainly tango. The use of social media etiquette is recommended and welcome.
